He built a gorgeous rock wall to showcase our home; and he co-ordinated other trades, (irrigation, buried electrical systems, curbs and driveways, at the same time.) He is efficient, knowledgeable and personable with an excellent work ethic, he arrives when he says he will and then doesn't waste a single minute.
He also has the best materials at his disposal (paving stones, pebbles, river stones, topsoil, compost etc.) No job is too big or too small.

He, also, has a skilled team that does snow removal. We can always get out in the mornings.
We feel very lucky to have met Todd on our arrival in Gananoque three years ago. He's been a god-send to us and we are grateful and appreciative of the fine work he's done and hopefully will continue to do for us.

We wanted to initially add a second bathroom to our cottage on Charleston Lake, but because of its close proximity to the lake and the latest building requirements we were forced to go through a variance hearing. Even before being considered for a variance, we found out that we would have to comply with the latest Septic System requirements. For any type of upgrade, we were going to need to convert from an existing holding tank design to a full septic system design. Since we had dealt with Todd on some small gravel jobs in the past, we contacted him regarding the septic system design. Todd did a great job explaining the local requirements and guidelines to us and designed a system to satisfy our needs and the local municipality guidelines. As it turned out, we completely redesigned what we initially designed. We added two more bathrooms and almost 2,000 square feet of livable space. Todd was instrumental in this process as we were severely restricted by the amount of land we owned. He changed the septic plans completely and was able to design a new system to handle the increase flow required. “Todd has done a wide variety of work for me over the past 12 years that we have owned our farm in the 1000 Islands area. Todd and his crew have built roads, excavated ponds, built dams, installed culverts, rearranged drainage ditches, cleaned-up old brush piles and a trash dump, plowed snow and helped build a bridge. The biggest project we did together was a wetland restoration project under the direction of Ducks Unlimited in 2002. Todd and his crew excavated to create an interconnected network of seven ponds and built two dams. This project turned out beautifully.

Todd personally is the best backhoe operator I have ever seen. His crew members also are excellent equipment operators and Todd maintains his equipment to a high standard so breakdowns rarely slow progress. He and his crew do very high quality work and have never damaged surrounding terrain with their equipment. Todd has always been very responsive to my requests and prompt in beginning and completing projects. The project we did with Ducks Unlimited was the first that Todd had done with them. I know that Ducks Unlimited was impressed with Todd’s work and invited him to bid on several other projects after ours.
